Bath Fitter expands with more displays on hand

Bath Fitter now has a new showroom to display its bathroom wares.

John Stanhagen, branch manager, said the 1,800-square-foot showroom at 33 Brent Lane, Suite 102, has five displays and accessories comprising three shower setups and two bathtubs.

Previously, customers examined the acrylic bathtubs and shower enclosures at the company’s office-warehouse on Rainbow Avenue. Bath Fitter provides a full line of made-to-match shower doors, grab bars, corner seats, and soap dishes.

Bath Fitter has been here for more than two years. Its products are custom-made, including the tub liners, shower bases and a seamless wall system. Since the move to Brent Lane, the company has added two new employees.
Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and “we also take appoint-ments on Saturday,” said Stanhagen. Call 429-1777.

Building materials

Building Materials Outlet, 3331 McLemore Drive in Ellyson Park, has opened its first Pensacola store.

The 47 year-old national company has one outlet each in Minnesota and Arizona. Inventory includes building materials at liquidation prices such as porcelain tile, hardwood, laminate and vinyl flooring, rugs and runners, cabinets both finished and unfinished, moulding and trim.

Hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Call 912-4088 Guava moving
Guava, the upscale furniture and accessory store at 824 E. Belmont St., has closed in preparation for a move to Destin Commons Nov. 1.

“We will offer much of the same products that we carried in Pensacola, but also are adding more because the store there is twice the size,” said Daleton Patterson, co-owner with Michael Weiss.

The Pensacola location will reopen for three days in December for a moving sale of its furniture and accessories inventory.
