We had a bathfitter tub and shower installed at our house; the price, product and service were outstanding!  I cannot fault these folks in any way.  They showed up for the presentation on time with knowledge and brochures, answered questions, arranged financing and scheduling.  The  installer showed up on time in the early morning and worked throughout the day to ensure the tub and enclosure were installed correctly and then cleaned up his working area within the house and in the outside areas where he worked prior to the install.  I am more than happy to recommend these folks and this business to anyone interested in improving their bath area!

My wife and I thought about a remodel on our guest bath. It is full sized and served as a main
bathroom. We did an addition to the house with new master suite, master bath, dining room and
private relaxation area.

The remodel that Bath Fitter performed made the guest bath rival the master bath. The difference being
we installed a non-tub, full shower with domed ceiling. The domed ceiling is a recommendation I would make
if you are doing the job. I really makes the shower "pop" I liked the finished look the dome gave. The materials
used were first quality. I worked as millwright for 23 years before moving to supervision for the final 12 years of my
employment with a major Chemical Company.

They demanded excellence in the work quality, if not right, make it totally right. The quality of the materials used,
and the expertise of the installer impressed me very much. The installer had to be a person of several talents.

Plumbing and the ability to completely remove everything to the studs then rebuild
out, and put the finish on was quite nice to see quality work still being done. I am very proud of our guest bath
I would recommend Bath Fitter for any bath related job you need. The installer was very particular and did the
job to my approval. He stayed until the job was finished on the 2nd day. Both days the cleanup was great to see
that this is still demanded by Bath Fitter. I thought the price was a little high but you don't get quality on the cheap
in my opinion.

Well pleased with our decision, it just seems to catch your eye for a 2nd look.

I don't often write letters like this one, but I just had to let you know how happy I am with my new shower.  Bath Fitter is absolutely wonderful from start to finish.

 

But one of your greatest assets has to be your installer, Michael Brunetti, who installed my shower in South Daytona, Florida about a week ago.

Wow!  Talk about going above and beyond!  My shower is huge and it was a challenge to say the least.

Everything was finished and looked great except for a couple of pieces of trim that just didn't look right when installed.

Michael could have left it at that -- it was what I had ordered after all.  However, Michael took it upon himself

to explain to me why the trim didn't turn out the way I expected.  He returned the next morning (a Saturday) on

his own time and in his own vehicle and replaced the trim to make it look better.  I asked him why he did this and he told me that he didn't

want his name on anything that wasn't exactly perfect and wanted to be sure that I was completely satisfied with his work.

 

Well, you just don't find that kind of work ethic anymore and I was tremendously impressed with this young man.  He is obviously a man with

great values and he is a fantastic representative of your company.

 

I hope Upper Management at Bath Fitter takes notice of this employee - your company and your reputation couldn't be in any better hands.

My mother-in-law , Jean Braus (93 years old) desperately needed her bathtub replaced with a walk in  shower. We first contacted Rebath, as we knew someone who had a franchise in a different territory. I was shocked at their estimate and went looking for an alternative. We found bathfitter, and had them come in for an estimate. The estimate came in at HALF of the Rebath price. We went ahead and contracted with you. EVERYONE we dealt with at your organization was helpful, cooperative and professional.  Eddie Marji, Liz and Dianne were terrific. The installer was great! (you were wrong, however, on your estimate as to how long the job would take-you said 2 days it only took one). The real test came when my mother-in-law took her first shower in the new addition---SHE LOVED IT.

I just wanted to take the time to tell all of you who are reading the "happy customers" section that everything you are reading is absolutely true - and more.

We have a huge master walk-in double shower that over time became extremely moldy and mildewed.  It was because when the house was built the floor of the shower was not pitched; consequently causing a build up of mold and mildew, that no matter how and with what it was cleaned always managed to reappear.

When Neil -our estimator- came out to look at the job, he noticed right away what the problem was.  He told us what the installers would do to eliminate the problem, and was extremely good at designing our new shower.

Our two installers, Eric and Brian, were absolutely fantastic and extremely professional.  The care they took with the rest of the bath - laying throw blankets and padding from the front door to our bathroom was amazing.  Their quality of work was beautiful and the cleanup was incredible!!

Needless to say, my husband and I are extremely happy with our new bath, and spend a lot of time in the shower:)

A year ago I made a sizeable investment in remodeling our master bath. I had Bath Fitter install a bathtub liner and wall enclosure to cover the old tiles and tub in my home. I have had some problems with the original installation and I needed some things corrected. I called to talk to our customer service representative. After an unacceptable repair attempt Bath Fitter completely removed and replaced the entire original bathtub liner and wall enclosure.
I’m very pleased with the outcome of a job well done. Because of the professionalism and technical skills of your employees and the reliability of your company this is the 2nd remodeling project I’m having done by Bath Fitter. Your business practices, along with the lifetime guarantee, are unbeatable.
I have an older home and unfortunately the previous contractor did a poor job enlarging a powder room to a bath with a corner shower. The walls and floor were not plumb or square. The result was a worse problem than when he started it.
What helped us decide to do business with Bath Fitter again was their Limited Lifetime Quality Assurance Product Warranty. It clearly states “We will repair or replace any defective unit at our discretion at no charge.” I am so glad to see a company doing business this way!

I just had my Bath Fitter shower installed today and it looks fantastic. I moved into my home in Irondequoit 3 weeks ago and it was clear that my shower was unworkable. I had seen some Bath Fitter commercials and my cousin was talking about you over Thanksgiving, so I called. Leo was very helpful in helping me decide on my options. Chuck did the installation and he did a great job. Not only did he do the installation, but he found a leaky, corroded pipe that I never would have found. I saw the BATH FITTER commercial and decided that was what I wanted for my bath. I wanted to remove the old tub and put in a full shower because I have small children and a handicapped son who has trouble lifting his leg over a conventional tub.

We want to let you know what a great experience we had with our local Bath Fitter at in Mishawaka, Indiana. About 11 years ago, Powers Bath Systems installed an acrylic overlay on our steel tub. About a month ago, after finding water in our pantry and bedroom closet, we discovered this overlay had failed, the steel tub had rusted out, and water was leaking into other rooms every time we used our tub.  We called Bath Fitter, and the salesman, Derek, was very knowledgeble and helpful. He did not pressure us at all, but presented your product and gave us a very good feeling about the reliability of your company. This past Saturday, we had our new tub and surround installed, and we are so happy with the finished product! Our installer, Mike, who works out of the Valparaiso office was so professional, and did an absolutely beautiful job. Even though he ran into some unforseen plumbing problems because we have an older home and the original plumbing had not been done correctly, he took his time and did everything the right way.  These plumbing problems caused about twice the time to complete the plumbing portion of the job, but he was still able to complete the work in one day. We were so impressed with the clean and neat job he did, and with his professional attitude. We absolutely love our bathroom, and will certainly recommend Bath Fitter to anyone. Thank you!

We had to get a new bathtub, so I called Bath Fitter. A sales person came out, showed us what they offered, we signed a contract, and I was told that it could be at least two to three weeks before the installation. First we want to apologize for not writing to you on our satisfaction right after the tub was installed. Time seems to get away from us and before you know it it’s four months later.

We cannot express how pleased we are with our Bath Fitter tub. From our first visit with you to yesterday when I cleaned my tub, you were very thorough with your presentation. You were very helpful in helping us choose the best features for our tub that the entire family would enjoy, and in helping us stay within our budget. We can’t say enough about the installers – they were polite, respectful of our home, and very particular with the installation, making sure everything was perfect.

One of the good things about not writing you right after the installation is because of an incident we had a few months following. I had taken a half day off work to relax at home and spend some time in the pool with my kids. I came in the house for a drink only to find water pouring through my kitchen ceiling, right under my bathtub. We had no idea where the water was coming from but seeing it was just installed by Bath Fitter, we called you. This is where your customer service shines. Stan, when I called you in a panic you quickly assured me you would have someone get right back to me. I was contacted by Tom and within a short time Waterworks was at my home. He identified the problem (which had nothing to do with the Bath Fitter tub), which was related to a cap on the drain pipe. He quickly fixed the problem.

Every company is good at making the sale, but are they there when something goes wrong?  Bath Fitter was there for us and quickly took care of the problem. We are extremely pleased with the customer service we have received.

This is just a note to let you know how pleased we are with our new shower. We went to Stoneham and were shown our options. Kathy showed us around and explained the process. She set up an appointment for Greg to come to our home, to take measurements and explain the process and cost.

Greg did that very well and with the choices he gave us we decided to eliminate the bathtub and have just a shower put in. He also helped us choose the color, and asked what else we wanted, for example, a seat, grab bar, etc. At that time we decided to go with it and were told it would be six weeks before installation.

Six weeks later they were at our home and ready to go. Jeremy was the installer, and we cannot say enough about how professional he was. He did a great job – he did run into a problem with our dryer vent, but he took care of the problem. The finished product is beautiful and I cannot tell you how pleased we are.

We will recommend your company whenever we can.

In August of 2009, we had Bath Fitter remove the bathtub in our master bath and install a full walk-in shower. We wanted to wait a reasonable time before submitting a review because we felt that most problems would surface within the first several months. We’re happy to say that there are no problems to report.
The installation was completed in less than two days and the installer (John) was truly a "jack of all trades" – and a master of all the trades needed for our installation. He is a true craftsman, which is indeed rare these days.
The materials and workmanship were top-of-the-line. Cleaning is a breeze and it looks terrific. We wish we had done it much sooner. But probably the biggest plus, as we get older, is that when we step into the shower, we think about all of the risk we avoid by not having to step in and out of a bathtub each day.

I have only one word to describe my experience in retaining Bath Fitter to renovate my bathroom shower/tub unit: excellent. The entire team was nothing less than excellent. In doubles tennis, it is said that a pair is only as strong as the weakest player – so too in contracting. With respect to Bath Fitter, EVERYONE (and I stress EVERYONE) was excellent. The estimator, Tom Thomas, was professional, respectful and reasonable:

Professional – he provided me detailed information with respect to the work to be done (e.g. a sample of the valve to be installed).
Respectful – he did not walk throughout my home in front of me, but rather let me guide him throughout my home and did not make any marks on my walls as your competitor's representative did.
Reasonable – he provided me with suggestions that were reasonable and did not leave me with the perception that he was attempting to sell me something I did not want in order to inflate the contract price. 

Gerald, the installer, was extremely hard working, and did not mind in the least having me observe his duty. It is my view that this installer (and I apologize if it was not Gerald) did not perform a job, but gave a performance. The work he did, and the extra steps he took, made his work vastly superior to another contractor I had retained to renovate my other bathroom. I probably would have retained Bath Fitter for that job, but it was regarded as being too difficult for Bath Fitter.  The receptionist was cordial and professional, and I can only recall that Bath Fitter is the only contractor I ever had whereby there was a follow-up call after the estimate.
 
I have had unpleasant experiences with contractors; however, Bath Fitter was not one of them. I only have the highest praise for Bath Fitter and recommend Bath Fitter to anyone considering the renovation of their bathroom.
 
While Bath Fitter had installed my shower unit professionally, I also appreciated the other service that Bath Fitter provided as part of the contract. For example, the provision of a bathroom cleaner, a list of recommended cleaners (which included a vast array of products and not a limited number of products produced only by Bath Fitter), and the lifetime warranty. All of these aspects enriched my experience with Bath Fitter.
  
Once again, my experience with Bath Fitter was nothing less than excellent and I wish Bath Fitter continued success in the future, not only because the entire Bath Fitter team deserves it, but to ensure that if I need future bathroom renovations, Bath Fitter will be there.

He indicated that he had a technician located in Bordentown, NJ and informed me that he would see if he could get the technician to my house this morning. He called the technician and called me back within three minutes to indicate that the technician would be at my house by 9 a.m.

On Wednesday, March 31st, 2010, you replaced our defective Bath Fitter bathtub liner, originally installed by your company.

The original liner had been installed in June 2000, and although the warranty period had expired, you agreed to replace the new liner at no charge. Installation records indicated that, at the time of installation, we filed a complaint that the installation was faulty. We had agreed to wait and see if the liner would settle with time. It never did and eventually cracked. Based on this, you replaced the liner.

I am writing to let you know that this action on your part is a very important message from your company. The message is that you stand behind your product. Furthermore, your product is not a temporary solution, your product can be purchased by people who intend to stay at their current location and, importantly, in the purchase of an existing home, it is not necessary to negotiate the price of a bathroom renovation in the purchase price just because a Bath Fitter liner is installed. Bath Fitter solutions are permanent, functional, and practical.

At this time, I want to acknowledge your sound business practices. Please accept my sincere thanks for this work. It has been a pleasure doing business with your company and it is a pleasure owning a Bath Fitter bathtub liner.

Pat and I wanted to personally thank you for your excellent assistance in replacing our guestroom bathtub with an updated Bath Fitter product. Your careful estimate and quote were executed to the fullest by a very talented installer, Arnaldo.

Arnaldo arrived exactly on time and proceeded to demolish the existing installation with care and extreme attention to detail. The substrate involved a tricky transition from existing studs and tile to a uniform surface for installation. Arnaldo carefully built up the substrate and flooring to accommodate the new product. He was exceptionally careful not to disturb the existing structure beyond what was necessary for the new installation. Additionally, he worked in a clean and safe manner with much of the assembly done on our driveway to minimize mess and disruption, even though this entailed a long walk to the actual second story job site. As a licensed contractor myself, I was very impressed with his measurements and application cuts. Throughout the process, he continually updated my wife on choices for installation of the products we had selected (soap shelves, shower bars, glass doors, etc.). The result has far exceeded our expectations and has already received favorable comments from friends and neighbors.

Thank you again for your careful and thoughtful estimates and please express our personal thanks to Arnaldo for his outstanding installation effort. If all your installers are that good it is easy to see why your reputation is impeccable.

We had our tub converted into a shower on Thursday and Friday, June 25th and 26th, by one of your installers, Jason. He came from the Howell Bath Fitter location to do the installation. We had requested that the date, if possible, be moved up due to an upcoming surgery.

The shower installation is beautiful, and Jason did a fantastic job. He was very professional and showed much care to detail, and paid special attention to respecting our property as he worked. On the day of arrival, the installer, Sami, came in and began to work without stopping .  He stopped only to ask where we wanted the accessories placed in the bathtub.  He was very professional and courteous throughout the whole process, taking the time to explain what he was going to do next. My husband and I selected Bath Fitter to do our bathtub-to-walk-in-shower conversion after consulting with, and obtaining estimates from, seven different companies. We believe the staff we dealt with was knowledgeable and personable. Barry came to our home to assess the location, show us the products, explain the choices, and provide an estimate; and Michael answered all of our questions in the showroom.

Although we had to wait almost 3 months between signing the contract and having the job done, we could not be more pleased with the result.

Our installer, Vladimir, was pleasant, competent, and efficient. Despite the numerous tasks involved in the job, he took time to explain what he would be doing and why. He requested our input where appropriate, and inconvenienced us as little as possible throughout the process.

He took care to protect our floors with drop cloths from the front door right into the bathroom. He removed all debris and cleaned up the area when finished. He completed the job within two days as promised.

We have been enjoying our beautiful, convenient new shower since then and would highly recommend Bath Fitter to anyone who is considering having a similar job done.

Our recent shower remodeling accomplished through Bath Fitter of Charlotte, North Carolina is such a success that I must write to say so.

The salesman who responded to my phone call was efficient, professional, thorough, and knowledgeable. He understood our needs as older people, showed us the options, advised us what he thought best, did not try to sell us anything we didn't need, and explained exactly what we would get and when.  We signed the contract, pleased,  but little knowing how much more pleased we would be later.   In a couple of weeks, Bath Fitter called to say that our material was ready and to make an appointment for the work.

On the day, I was surprised to see only the Bath Fitter van and one man; I had expected a crew. We had an old built-in metal shower over fifty years old and looking terrible, which I thought would daunt anyone to get out and replace. But no trucks, no crew talking trash, taking breaks, and playing radios; only Robin who covered the floor with cloths and went about his work quietly and efficiently. He sawed up the heavy old shower and it was soon gone. He put in new wallboard behind it, moved the plumbing a little bit, installed a new drain, and began to assemble a lovely new shower.

A day and a half of professional work later, the old shower is gone  with no mess, no clutter, no noise and no inconvenience -- except one evening without a shower -- and not so much as one scratch on the wallpaper around it and in its place is a beautiful, perfectly-fitted glassed-in shower  with grab bar and all safety features.  I was simply amazed.

The price was not cheap, of course, but the quality and the workmanship are not cheap. They are just what we wanted but did not know anyone could do so well or so efficiently.

Thank you, salesman Richard and installer Robin!  We will sing your praises to anyone who will listen.

I had a stroke 2 years ago. My shower was only 32" x 32" and provided no room for my shower chair. I finally got around to contacting Bath Fitter for an estimate—one of the agencies that works with me was offering an annual grant for home remodeling. Although I didn't qualify for that, I did have a state grant that I could invoke at any time—so we put this project through on that.
 
The estimator that came out, Ken Mattner, was great! He was patient and took all the time I needed to make sure I was fully informed about the process and costs. He then worked with me and the agency to get everything in order so that the job could be done. He even called me several times over the weeks that it took the state to finally cut the initial payment.
 
The installer, Jeff Krammes, was also fantastic! He showed up on time and went over the whole job with me, just to make sure that we both knew exactly what was expected. He then set a drop cloth from my front door all the way to the bathroom so that he wouldn't be tracking crud through my home. He started work and was quick to get the demolition completed. He finished up that first day by installing the new shower base. He showed up the next morning, again, right on time. I told him I had a doctor’s appointment that morning and the bus would be picking me up by 8:00 a.m. He was courteous and said that if I needed his van moved, to just let him know. I told him his van was fine where it was.
 
By the time I got home, he had switched out the valve system and turned the water back on. He then had to leave to go back for the surround. He was gone about the amount of time he said it would take and returned with the surround. He brought that in, and went right to installing it. When I went back to check it out, the surround was fully installed, and he was working on the personal shower connections. We went over the seat type and its placement, as well as the accessories.
 
He finished up at least a half day sooner than expected. The results are terrific! I couldn't be happier with Bath Fitter and their employees!

Both my wife and I are very pleased with the finish and fit of the installation which speaks to Mike’s abilities.

When there was a problem with the tub draining after the second use, I had to call Jewel on her cell after business hours. She returned my call that night and said she or someone from the office would get back to me the next morning. Miranda called and said she would get someone on the problem as soon as possible and Duke was able to squeeze us into his schedule that same day. Miranda called us twice to assure me that your people were on top of the issue and it would be handled in an expeditious manner, which it was. Duke came out to the house, solved the problem and also gave me useful information about toilet replacement. All in all, you should be very proud of the job your people have done on our project. They are professional, caring, knowledgeable about their business, and a pleasure to work with. I have no reservations about recommending your company to anyone, for I know they will be treated just as well.

My friend was amazed at how quickly you were able to change her bathtub into a shower unit.  Hazel Cox, my 86 year old friend, had fallen in her bathroom several times.  So when she fell earlier this month, I recommend Bath Fitter to her and her 89 year old sister.  They gave me the go ahead to call Bath Fitter of Birmingham, Alabama.  I called and made an appointment for her.  We were given a date for the salesman to come.  On that day the home office called and stated that the salesman had car trouble.  The salesman would come 2 days later.  He came at the new appointed time.  He apologized for the first appointment. He stated that the home office had overbooked him. My thoughts then turned to: Who’s telling the truth? Is this going to be bad?  Will they really do what they said?  John Smith, the salesperson, proceeded with his demonstration.  He was thorough and he demonstrated things in simple terms. He gave the ladies time to see the products and allowed them time to ask questions. We decided to think about it overnight.  The next day I called Mr. Smith and told him we would like Bath Fitter to do the work.  He came back by Mrs. Cox's to pick up the initial payment.  Saturday, September 10, 2010, Anthony and Jimmie arrived bright and early. Within less than 6 hours they had the shower ready to go.  Anthony and Jimmie were so nice.  Their workmanship and demeanor were excellent.  They work very quietly and were very respectable to Mrs. Cox.  After I paid them the remaining money, they told us that they never work on Saturday.  They had agreed to this time to install Mrs.Cox's shower because of her immediate need.  That was so very kind of them. They should be rewarded for their efforts.

A company’s true value can be measured in a number of ways. None however are more important than service after the sale. In all too many cases businesses are more than happy making the initial sale, but perform miserably when service is needed afterward.

This is not the case with Bath Fitter of Ocala, Florida. Having made a sizeable investment in remodeling our master and guest baths in June of 2007, we needed something corrected in our master bath and so I called and talked to Melanie, our customer service representative in Ocala. Not only did she remember me after all of this time, she actually showed a rare eagerness to see that the situation was rectified.

What helped us decide to do business with Bath Fitter was their Limited Lifetime Quality Assurance Product Warranty. It clearly states “We will repair or replace any defective unit at our discretion at no charge.”

Melanie immediately scheduled an appointment a week later for their head installer Henrik Duirlin to come out and assess the problem. Henrik arrived on time and was the most pleasant service tech I have ever met. He walked in, assessed the situation and determined that the entire master bath walls had to be redone. He spent most of a full day doing just that.

What impressed me the most was the fact that I didn’t need to do any campaigning or negotiating with this company, I merely made a single phone call and couldn’t have had a more pleasant outcome.

Needless to say, the job turned out excellent. My wife and I couldn’t be more pleased. We would recommend Bath Fitter to anyone that has a bathroom remodeling project and is looking for a totally water-tight product and installation..

As my husband had just had surgery for rectal cancer, I needed to replace our bathtub with a low access shower which he could use, as soon as possible.

A nice lady named Amy Morrow came, took measurements, and gave me a price.  After more checking and thinking it over, I called and placed the order.  In about three weeks Glen delivered and installed the shower.  I love it.  Glen did a marvelous job with the installation.  Since then I have had Amy and Glen from Bath Fitter install another over my tub in a second bath.  I am extremely happy with both.  I highly recommend them for all your conversion needs.  points.

It was installed on 5/20/09.  It looks like a different bathroom.  I find myself standing and looking at it several times a day.  The installer did a beautiful job. My husband and I purchased and tub and surround from you about 6 yrs ago. We recently started having some problems as there was cracking in the bottom of the tub. We only had a 5 yr. warranty with our purchase. When we called about this issue a service person was out within a couple of days. I got a Bath Fitter tub in 2007. It was fine but unlevel due to our existing tub. Then I got two yellow spots on the finish of the tub. I wanted an additional corner shelf unit so I called to have it installed and had the technician look at my yellow spots. The gentleman that came out was very nice and was concerned about the leveling and yellow spots of our tub. Then Rob Wilder came out and he replaced the tub and corner units. What seemed like an easy job took him 12 hours. But he leveled our tub as close as he could. It went from an inch and a half to less than a half an inch from one side to the other. It was far  better than before. He stayed until the job was right even though he had great difficulty with the drain. I am so impressed that an American company stands by its product and has people that will stay until the job is done right. You just don't find this type of craftmanship in many areas of our country today.  I am impressed not only by the product itself, but by the fact that employees stay until the job is done right.  Thank you Rob!!!
